Despite its inclusion in the official French name — le Salon International de l’Aéronautique et de l’Espace — the Paris Air Show traditionally has not highlighted space in its panels or exhibitions. The focus of the event has stayed on commercial and military aviation as companies showed off aircraft and announced new orders.
