32nd Session of the Asia-Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum (APRSAF-32)
The theme for APRSAF-32 is “Bridging the Asia-Pacific: Advancing a Trusted and Inclusive Space
Future’’. The Asia-Pacific region is diverse, encompassing a wide range of advancement levels in space
technology and emerging ecosystems. Historically, multilateralism was viewed as the primary vehicle for
bridging these technological gaps and fostering mutual support. However, in today’s landscape of fragile
geopolitics and sensitive international ties, the effectiveness of multilateral frameworks is being called into
question.
In line with the theme of APRSAF-32, which emphasizes bridging for global development, we believe that
space cooperation must remain a priority. As a key regional platform, APRSAF-32 is set to be the premier
arena for space agencies to reaffirm their dedication to transparent cooperation, while playing an important
bridging role in the Asia-Pacific.
